Description

KAmod OPTO 1REL - Power module with 5V relay and optoisolation
This universal module with a relay enables independent control of the connected load. Optical input isolation protects the control system from possible damage, ensures safe isolation, and increases safety and reliability. The module can be operated using microcontroller ports or any development kit, making it a versatile solution.
It operates at 5V and supports loads with a maximum current consumption of up to 10A at 250VAC. Input and output signals are connected to screw terminals, ensuring a secure and durable connection.
The module allows you to change the relay's trigger state – it can be configured to activate with a low or high state. A jumper in the "L" position sets the trigger state to low, while a jumper in the "H" position sets the trigger state to high.

Basic Features and Parameters

  • 1 x SPDT relay 10A 250V AC or 10A 30V DC
  • LED indicating relay on status
  • LED indicating supply voltage
  • Jumper to select the on status (HIGH/LOW)
  • Input optoisolation
  • ARK screw terminals
  • Operating voltage: 5V
  • NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed) contacts
  • 3mm diameter mounting holes
  • Mounting hole spacing: 20 x 44mm
  • PCB dimensions: 26 x 50mm

Standard Equipment

Code Description
KAmod OPTO 1REL
  • Assembled and powered-up module

Connection

Connect the following to the input screw terminals:

  • 5V power supply to the DC+ pin
  • power supply ground (GND) to the DC- pin
  • control signal to the IN pin

The relay contacts are connected to the output screw terminals. Both normally closed (NC) and normally open (NO) contacts are available.

Trigger Configuration

The module is equipped with a jumper that allows you to configure the relay triggering method:

The jumper in the "L" position allows you to trigger the relay with a low state.

The jumper in the "H" position allows you to trigger the relay with a high state.

Indicator LEDs

The module is equipped with a "PWR" LED indicating the presence of the power supply, and a "REL" LED indicating relay activation.
