Description

KAmod RPI5-Proto - Universal board for prototyping circuits with Raspberry Pi 5
The universal board KAmod RPI5-Proto contains a grid of metalized holes arranged in a standard 2.54 mm raster and connected in groups. This is a characteristic structure of each universal board, which facilitates the creation of simple electronic circuits. Additionally, all GPIO0...GPIO27 pins and I2C, SPI and UART interfaces are led out and described on the board. The KAmod RPI5-Proto board can be mounted directly on the Raspberry Pi 5 and many other computers from the Raspberry Pi family.

Basic parameters
  • Adapted to Raspberry Pi 5 boards
  • Contains a grid of metalized holes arranged in a standard 2.54 mm raster
  • Markings on the board make it easy to identify GPIO ports and I2C, SPI and UART interfaces
  • Power supply voltages of 5 V and 3.3 V are derived
  • Mounting holes correspond to Raspberry Pi family boards
  • Board dimensions: 66x56 mm

Standard Equipment

  • 1 x straight 2x20-pin (40-pin) contact strip with a 2.54 mm pitch
Electrical connections diagram

The electrical connections between the individual soldering points are shown in the drawing below - this is a view from the top side. The copper paths connecting the individual holes are routed only on the top side of the board.

I/O port pinouts

The KAmod RPI5-Proto board has all the I/O ports available on the GPIO pin header of the Raspberry Pi computer. Their arrangement has been arranged and clearly marked – as shown in the figure below. The table shows the arrangement of signals on the GPIO connector of Raspberry Pi family computers.

Interface and supply voltage pinouts

The KAmod RPI5-Proto board has the power supply terminals and the most important interfaces available on the GPIO pin header of the Raspberry Pi computer on additional connectors. Their arrangement has been arranged and clearly marked – as shown in the figure below. The table shows the layout of voltages and interface signals on the GPIO connector of Raspberry Pi family computers.

How to mount the KAmod RPI5-Proto board

The KAmod RPI5-Proto module can be mounted directly on the GPIO connector of the Raspberry Pi computer. To improve stability, you can optionally use sleeves and screws - as shown in the photo.

Dimensions

The dimensions of the KAmod RPI5-Proto board are: 66 x 56 mm.
